Auto-print Shopify inventory transfers, orders, and labels — native Shopify app
AutoPrint connects your Shopify store to a local printer at each of your locations and auto-prints documents when events fire. Inventory transfers today, orders and labels coming next. Install from the Shopify App Store.
Install from the Shopify App Store
One click. AutoPrint asks for four read-only scopes (inventory, transfers, locations, products). Free to install on Shopify.
Download the desktop, claim a printer
Install AutoPrintEmail on the PC at your receiving station, sign in with a magic link, click the Shopify card, and pick a printer for each location. Two minutes.
Walk past the printer
Mark a transfer complete in Shopify, paper comes out at the destination location. No tabs to flip, no exports, no browser extension.
v1 covers inventory transfers. Receipt with line items, barcodes, and reference numbers lands on the destination location's printer the moment a transfer is marked complete. Orders, packing slips, refunds, and shipping labels are on the roadmap next.
Shopify events supported today:
Multi-location shops don't want every printer firing on every transfer. Each Shopify location claims its own printer through the desktop app. The receipt for a transfer headed to Retail Store prints at Retail, not at the warehouse. Two staff at one site can claim the same location for redundancy — both printers fire.
Thermal, laser, inkjet — DYMO, Zebra, Brother, HP, anything Windows / macOS / Linux can print to. No driver tricks.
PDFs render server-side from the Shopify webhook payload. Your desktop polls and prints. No browser plugins, no print drivers in the browser.
Verify the full loop — server, desktop, printer — before you rely on it. One button inside Shopify admin.
Based on 2 minutes per transfer to export, format, and print manually — plus the latency of someone remembering to do it.
Shopify apps run in your browser. Printers live on a physical machine on your network. AutoPrint splits the work cleanly: the free Shopify app handles the connection, settings, and audit trail; the desktop app (AutoPrintEmail) runs on the PC that owns the printer and actually drives the print job. The two sides talk over our backend with signed webhooks and short-lived presigned URLs.
Same pattern Klaviyo and PrinterCo use. Free on Shopify; the desktop printing service is billed separately by AutoPrintEmail with a 7-day Team trial — no card required to start.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. AutoPrint is a native Shopify App Store app — install it from the Shopify App Store with one click, no email forwarding involved. The desktop app (AutoPrintEmail) is a separate download that runs on the PC connected to your printer.
v1 prints inventory transfer receipts when a transfer is marked complete. Orders paid, fulfillments created, refunds, and shipping labels are on the next-event roadmap — every new event is a single toggle on the Settings tab.
Each Shopify location is mapped to a specific printer from the desktop app. When Shopify fires an event with a destination location, only that location's printer prints. Multiple staff at one location can claim the same site for redundancy — both printers fire on the same event.
Anything your operating system can print to — thermal label printers (DYMO, Zebra, Brother QL), inkjet, laser. AutoPrint hands rendered PDFs to the OS print pipeline; no driver shenanigans.
The Shopify app is free to install. The desktop printing service is billed separately by AutoPrintEmail on a 7-day Team trial (no card required to start). Additional charges may be billed by AutoPrintEmail separately from your Shopify invoice — standard connector-app pricing model.
No — printers live on a physical machine on your network and need a local app to actually drive them. The Shopify-only side shows you the activity log and settings; printing requires the AutoPrintEmail desktop on the PC connected to the printer.
Yes. The embedded Shopify admin page has a "Test print" button next to every claimed location — fires a synthetic receipt end-to-end so you confirm the loop (server → desktop → printer) without waiting for a real transfer.
