Auto-print Shopify inventory transfers, orders, and labels
AutoPrintEmail connects your Shopify store to a local printer at each of your locations and auto-prints documents when events fire. Inventory transfer labels and order packing slips, out of the box. Install from the Shopify App Store.
Install AutoPrintEmail on Shopify
Free to install. Claim a printer for each location and your transfer labels and order packing slips print themselves — no exports, no extensions.

Install from the Shopify App Store
One click. AutoPrintEmail asks for read-only scopes only (inventory, transfers, orders, locations, products). Free to install on Shopify.
Download the desktop, claim a printer
Install AutoPrintEmail on the PC at your receiving station, sign in with a magic link, click the Shopify card, and pick a printer for each location. Two minutes.
Walk past the printer
A transfer is received or an order is paid — paper comes out at the right location. No tabs to flip, no exports, no browser extension.
Two flows ship today. A barcoded transfer receipt lands on the destination location's printer the moment a transfer is received, and a packing slip prints when an order is paid (opt-in per shop). Pick slips and refund slips are next on the roadmap, with shipping-label printing via label providers (Shippo, ShipStation) to follow.
Shopify events supported today:
Multi-location shops don't want every printer firing on every transfer. Each Shopify location claims its own printer through the desktop app. The receipt for a transfer headed to Retail Store prints at Retail, not at the warehouse. Two staff at one site can claim the same location for redundancy — both printers fire.
Thermal, laser, inkjet — DYMO, Zebra, Brother, HP, anything Windows / macOS / Linux can print to. No driver tricks.
PDFs render server-side from the Shopify webhook payload. Your desktop polls and prints. No browser plugins, no print drivers in the browser.
Verify the full loop — server, desktop, printer — before you rely on it. One button inside Shopify admin.
Based on 2 minutes per transfer to export, format, and print manually — plus the latency of someone remembering to do it.
Shopify apps run in your browser. Printers live on a physical machine on your network. AutoPrintEmail splits the work cleanly: the free Shopify app handles the connection, settings, and audit trail; the desktop app (AutoPrintEmail) runs on the PC that owns the printer and actually drives the print job. The two sides talk over our backend with signed webhooks and short-lived presigned URLs.
Free to install on Shopify. You pay per print station through Shopify Billing, on your normal Shopify invoice, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial (no card required to start). The desktop app is a free download.
What Our Users Say
Join thousands of satisfied customers
"We connected our Shopify store and now every order and inventory transfer prints at the right store location the moment it comes through. Nobody opens the admin to hit print anymore, and it all runs on our normal Shopify billing."
Anders K.
Shopify Store Owner
"Transfer receipts print at the receiving store on their own, so staff scan and put stock away without logging into Shopify. Setup was a printer per location and we were done."
Maria S.
Multi-location Retailer
"Packing slips are stacked at the printer before we start picking. On busy days that alone saved us the scramble of exporting and printing orders one by one."

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. AutoPrintEmail is a native Shopify App Store app — install it from the Shopify App Store with one click, no email forwarding involved. The desktop app (AutoPrintEmail) is a separate download that runs on the PC connected to your printer.
Two events print today: inventory transfers (barcoded transfer receipt when a transfer is received) and orders paid (a packing slip, opt-in per shop from the Settings tab). Fulfillments created and refunds are on the next-event roadmap — every new event is a single toggle. Shipping-label printing is planned via label-provider integrations (Shippo, ShipStation): labels are carrier-issued, so we auto-print them rather than generate them.
Each Shopify location is mapped to a specific printer from the desktop app. When Shopify fires an event with a destination location, only that location's printer prints. Multiple staff at one location can claim the same site for redundancy — both printers fire on the same event.
Anything your operating system can print to — thermal label printers (DYMO, Zebra, Brother QL), inkjet, laser. AutoPrintEmail hands rendered PDFs to the OS print pipeline; no driver shenanigans.
Free to install. You pay per print station through the Shopify Billing API, charged on your normal Shopify invoice, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial (no card required). The desktop print bridge is a free download, there is no separate off-Shopify charge.
No — printers live on a physical machine on your network and need a local app to actually drive them. The Shopify-only side shows you the activity log and settings; printing requires the AutoPrintEmail desktop on the PC connected to the printer.
Yes. The embedded Shopify admin has a "Test print" button next to every claimed location, plus a per-document Test print in the Templates tab (transfer receipt and packing slip) — each fires a sample document end-to-end so you confirm the loop (server → desktop → printer) without waiting for a real event.
