Install AutoPrintEmail on Windows
2 min read
Two ways in, both free to try: the Microsoft Store, or a direct download. Pick the Store unless you have a reason not to. It's the one Windows trusts on sight.

Option 1: Microsoft Store (recommended)
- Go to autoprint.email/download on the Windows PC that will print.
- Click the Get it from Microsoft Store badge.
- Click Get in the Store, then Open when it's installed.
Store installs are signed by Microsoft, so there's no "Windows protected your PC" warning and no antivirus pop-up.
Option 2: Direct download
Use this when the Store is blocked on your PC (common on managed work computers), or when we've just released a fix and the Store copy hasn't caught up yet.
- On autoprint.email/download, under Direct downloads, click x64 .exe. (Pick arm64 only on an ARM laptop, like a Surface Pro X or a Snapdragon PC.)
- Run the file.
- If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. It appears because new releases take a while to build a reputation with SmartScreen.
The direct download always points at the newest version: autoprint.email/api/ai/download/win32/x64/latest.
First launch
- Sign in with your email (we send you a sign-in link), or with Google or Microsoft.
- Start the free trial, connect your mailbox and pick the printer. The setup guide walks through it.
Keep it running
- Closing the window doesn't stop it. AutoPrintEmail keeps running in the system tray, next to the clock. Right-click the tray icon to open it, pause printing or quit.
- Start it with Windows. In the app, open Settings and switch on Start on login, so it comes back after every restart.
- Keep the PC awake. A sleeping PC prints nothing. See Keep Your Windows PC Awake.
Requirements
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and a printer that already prints from that PC.
